A charming red floral painted Queen Anne style chest of drawers, with painted black trim and stylized black cream and red flowers, with three long drawers each with engraved brass drawer pulls, the lock bearing the WR cypher of King William IV, with scallop carved base, raised on four cabriole legs. The chest dates from the 1830s and the red, black and white floral painted decoration is late 20th century. The drawers slide smoothly and this chest is both highly decorative and functional, offering plenty of storage space for linens, clothing, etc.
