A very handsome mahogany oval William IV period Gothic Revival center or dining table with richly figured, veneered top over a scalloped frieze supported by a square section support with scrolled feet decorated with carved acanthus leaves. This table has beautiful, lively figuring to the top and a very graphic, sculptural presence with its arcaded ornamental frieze. The oval shape is well suited for rectangular spaces, an entry way, behind a sofa or as a dining table for 4-6 people, among other possibilities.
