An original 1934 film festival poster advertising SELU, the Semaine de Lumiere (week of light) festival on Lake Lugano, 9-21 May 1934, lithograph on paper by Bolt, depicting a pink mountain, with yellow light at the summit, against a black background with the words SELU in an innovative typeface suggestive of projected light above it, with the lights of the city reflected on the lake below. Printed in Lugano by Arti Grafiche Gia Veladini and Company. The original program for this festival resides in the Swiss Cantonal Archives of Vaud. New archival framing with ebonized carved wood frame and UV resistant plexiglass.
